I started a Murfreesboro Tennessee Facebook page a few weeks ago. My goal was to get 500 people on it. The goal was to learn more about Murfreesboro , share a message a day that would inspire and get my name out there. I am a Real Estate agent. My children depend on me to be a great Realtor so I can provide for them. I wanted the city to get to know who I am and what I believe in. So the Murfreeboro, Tennessee Facebook page was born. Along the way I have learned so much about this great city. Never dreamed we would have almost 9,000 fans of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
I learned
1) I am addicted to Murfreesboro, Tennessee ( I love the history, old photos and the people for the most part). It has made me very proud of the city I call home.
2) The city has rich history and tradition- I love the old photos
3) The people of Murfreesboro care a great deal for their city
4) A small percentage of people are cynical and believe you are always out for no good. You could give them a 100.00 a bill and they would complain it was not in twenties.
5) There are people who will prop you up when others try to tear your ideas down. When someone knocks you down there are special people who will remind you that you can make a difference. When people are cynical or non believers there are people who defend you and remind us our ideas are worthwhile.
6) I learned the kindness of a stranger is far greater than any amount of money. If you are reading this I am almost certain you are one of those people.
I am glad I started that Murfreesboro Tennesssee Facebook page (not for business) because I met people like you along the journey.
Never let anybody try to put your fire out(whatever your passion may be). That passion is special and makes us alive.
If somewhere along the way somebody found a way to put your passionate fire out. Let me help you get it started by saying whatever your hopes and dreams are I BELIEVE IN YOU and YOUR DREAMS and I BELIEVE YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH WHATEVER YOU SET OUT TO ACCOMPLISH.

I have dreamed for several years of one thing that really inspires me. I want to run a non profit organizition and call it HELP! I want to find generous people to HELP the less fortunate people in America. I want to have made a difference when my time is up on earth and I think I could truly make a differnce in this capacity because I have a passion for this" idea".
Evil seems to prevail over good these days and drugs and crime are bad in America.
It is such a problem most Americans just seem to ignore it for the most part.
I want to fight back and although it will never be a battle won in my opinion I do want to make sure it is not a battle lost either. I feel if all the capable fortunate Americans would band together we could do alot of great things for thousands of families.
I often wonder if I won the lottery how many of my friends/family would think I was insane to give it all away? The truth is 80% of lottery winners end up broke and worse off than before they won the money in the first place. I rarely even play the lottery and wait until it gets to a number I really feel could change alot of lives.
I believe in my heart when someone needs help it is others job to HELP! Whether that be to listen, give someone a huge or help someone financially. I believe in my heart on judgement day my checking account balance will not mean a thing. I have noticed over time the more I give the more I get in return. I feel if you truly do it for the right reasons you will be repayed many times over in the future.
God works in mysterious ways and this is one of those ways. I have never felt so good in my life than when you do something special for someone that they actually weep. I do not like seeing someone cry but I do like knowing what you did truly indeed touched them forever. I think God makes it feel good to do good things because he wants us to keep it up. I feel guilt when I make mistakes and I think he makes it feel that way for the exact opposite reason.
I was just at the office and thinking about my"dream" and wanted to share it.
In life you have to believe it to achieve it-
I do believe in my dream.
This is my first post and this is the first thing that came to mind. I see so many real estate companies charging admin fees, transaction fees etc. to their clients. Is the commission not enough?? Just so we are clear you hire a Realtor that you pay a very good commission to and then they charge you MORE money??? I worked at a company that started charging those fees to buyers and sellers. I decided to move to a company that charges no fees to their clients because it SAVES YOU MONEY.
I hear so many real estate companies say "that the transaction fee is the cost of doing business."
Let me tell you it is not the cost of doing business. The cost of doing business is hiring a Realtor that represents your best interests for the commission you pay them to do the job. I have ads every week in the paper for my clients. I have all the things at my disposal the other companies have I just do not charge you extra for them.
It is very simple, all Realtors charge a commission(that is how my family eats). However, what is not known UNTIL you are signing your listing agreement or buyers agent agreement is that most real estate companies will charge you anywhere from 250.00-500.00 in fees that go to the real estate company.
So in closing so we are clear-
